Outspan School

Northamptonshire Scouts are to offer further assistance to the Outspan School

After many years of refusal, the owner of the land on which part of the original Outspan School was built is now willing to sell the land.

Keith Shackleton has been able to raise 3 million shillings to purchase the land.

It is hoped that in 2004 the temporary wooden class rooms can be replaced with permanent brick accommodation

Computers despatched to Uganda

4 computers despatched by Berkshire Scout Enterprises have arrived in Uganda and will shortly be on their way to assist the work of Scouting in four districts.

Africa Scout Fellowship

The Africa Scout Fellowship was formed at a well attended meeting of the UK Uganda Network in Hesley Wood, Chapletown, Sheffield.
